Ackworth School - UK Summer School
Ackworth School is a school that provides both day and boarding education year-round to students aged 2.5-19, with its green location in the West Yorkshire region, hosting a large area, and a history of over 250 years.
Located 1.5 hours by car from Manchester Airport and only 40 minutes by car from the city of Leeds, Ackworth School offers students both an English experience and professional sports training in the summer in the magnificent Yorkshire countryside with extensive sports facilities during the summer months.
The Ackworth School Summer School program offered by St Giles International is an ideal program prepared especially for students aged 11-17 who are interested in sports. Thanks to all-weather tennis courts, various sports fields, indoor swimming pool, netball, hockey and cricket areas, you will experience much more than a summer camp.
Education
PSG Football Academy
Students are provided with 20 lessons / 16.5 hours of football training per week with a top-level UEFA licensed coach, along with a traditional boarding school experience. In addition to training, the program offers students the opportunity to develop their skills through matches they will play.
Accommodation
On-campus, 1-2 person or shared rooms, shared bathroom (1 bathroom for every 6 people)
Meals
Three meals per day are provided.
Activities
Various activities are offered to students during non-class hours.
Trips
1 full day and 2 half day trips are offered per week.
Schools provide the trip program as an example and reserve the right to change trip program destinations due to weather conditions, availability or other external factors. In addition, there is no participation in trip programs on arrival and departure days.
Airport Transfers
Transfer service from airports is provided to students. Arrivals and departures are on Sundays.
Airport transfer days and times are fixed. Additional fees are charged outside these hours and days. You can get detailed information about transfers from your consultant.
Health Insurance
Students who wish can receive health insurance service from the school for an additional fee.
Extra Fees
Flight tickets, health insurance and visa expenses are not included in the fees.
