Caterham School - UK Summer School
Caterham School, founded in Lewisham in 1811 and moved to its current location in Surrey's Harestone Valley in 1884, has been a co-educational, established, successful and independent school since 1995. Caterham School, which provides education to students from the age of 3 to university throughout the year, opens its doors to summer camp students during the summer period.
Caterham School, which became one of England's best independent schools in 2023, is located 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport and only 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport, and is also within 1.5 hours of London by public transport. The school, spread over 200 acres, has woodland areas, sports fields, high rope course, and outdoor learning centers. It also offers students a well-equipped environment with its indoor pool, dance and performing arts center, fitness center and science complex.
With the Caterham School Summer School program offered by Samiad Summer School, students aged 11-17 will have the opportunity to discover both sports and artistic talents in addition to English lessons.
Education
English
A rich program that includes 15 hours of general English education per week, as well as sports, art activities, London discovery trips and fun games.
STEM
During 15 hours of general English education per week, science, technology, engineering and mathematics education is provided. In the afternoon, students can choose programs such as London discovery, basketball, multi-activity or intensive English.
Leadership
During 15 hours of general English education per week, leadership training is provided to students. In the afternoon, students can choose programs such as London discovery, basketball, multi-activity or intensive English.
Accommodation
On-campus dormitory, 1-2 and 4 person rooms, floor-shared bathroom. Private bathroom rooms can be offered for an additional fee.
Meals
Three meals per day are provided.
Activities
Activities such as talent competitions, karaoke, football, swimming, talent shows, yoga, dance, basketball, bracelet making, movie night, team games, disco and competitions are offered during times outside of class.
Trips
2 full day trips are organized per week. Sample Trip Program: Longleat Safari Park, British Museum, Cotswold Country Waterpark and Beach, Frisbee, London (1 night accommodation). Trips and activities may vary depending on the preferred program.
Schools provide the trip program as an example and reserve the right to change trip program destinations due to weather conditions, availability or other external factors. In addition, there is no participation in trip programs on arrival and departure days.
Airport Transfers
Students are met and sent from different airports including London, Birmingham and Manchester for an additional fee. Students who will receive at least 3 weeks of education are met and sent free of charge from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Arrivals and departures are on Sundays.
Airport transfer days and times are fixed. Additional fees are charged outside these hours and days. You can get detailed information about transfers from your consultant.

Insurance service can be obtained from the school for an additional fee.
