Bosworth Independent School – UK Summer School
Bosworth Independent School, an independent high school within Cats Global Schools, is an established independent high school that provides education to both local and international students. Located in the town of Northampton, surrounded by beautiful rural areas, Bosworth is centrally located, approximately 1 hour away from London, Oxford or Birmingham cities by train or car thanks to its location.
Bosworth Independent School Summer School, located on a large 118-acre site, has excellent facilities that students will enjoy on the school campus. These facilities include football and basketball fields, tennis courts, modern equipped classrooms and library as examples.
Bosworth Independent School Summer Camp, which stands out with its academically-oriented programs, is offered under the organization of Stafford House and is open to international students aged 14-17.
Education
Classic Course
Students are offered 15 hours of general English lessons per week. The program is supported by activities and trips.
STEM
The program is 22.5 hours per week. In this program focusing on how engineering, technology, science and mathematics are used to solve problems, students can also develop themselves academically. Laboratory work is also carried out within the program. Minimum B1 level English language proficiency is required to participate in the program.
IELTS Exam Preparation
22.5 hours of IELTS exam preparation lessons are given per week. Students are developed in the skills necessary to show high-level performance related to exam preparation during language education and take IELTS practice tests. Minimum B1 level English language proficiency is required to participate in the program.
Accommodation
On-campus dormitory: In one of 6 different dormitory alternatives, single and shared rooms, shared bathroom.
Meals
Three meals per day are provided.
Activities
Activities such as art and sports activities, beach party, disco, talent competitions, mini olympics etc. are offered to students for times outside of class.
Trips
1 full day and 2 half day trips are offered per week. The STEM program also includes 3 half-day educational visits. Sample Trip Program: London, Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bicester Village
Schools provide the trip program as an example and reserve the right to change trip program destinations due to weather conditions, availability or other external factors. In addition, there is no participation in trip programs on school arrival and departure days.
Airport Transfers
Free transfer service is provided to students from London airports. Arrivals and departures are on Sundays.
Airport transfer days and times are fixed. Additional fees are charged outside these hours and days. You can get detailed information about transfers from your consultant.
Health Insurance
Students who wish can obtain health insurance service from the school for an additional fee.
Extra Fees
Flight tickets, health insurance and visa expenses are not included in the fees. All programs are offered only for 2 weeks.
