London South Bank University - UK Summer School
London South Bank University, located in central London with its excellent location on the south bank of the Thames, a short walk from popular spots such as Borough Market and Tate Modern, and offering university education throughout the year, opens its doors for summer programmes for both young people and adults in Central London (LSBU) during the summer months.
London South Bank University, one of the British universities that has been providing education for over 120 years, aims to provide students with an unforgettable summer experience with its magnificent location in the heart of the city, modern facilities, sports areas, accommodation opportunities in single rooms and London Eye views.
During the summer period, the Central London (South Bank) summer programmes offered by London South Bank University, one of the UK's important universities with a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes since 1892, organized by Kings Young Learners, are open to international students aged 13-17.
Education
Summer Course
15 hours of general English lessons per week are provided to students. The programme is supported by activities and trips.
Discover London Summer (16+)
15 hours of general English lessons per week are provided to students. Students can discover London with one full day trip per week and optional organized trip programmes. Social programmes and optional evening events around London and entertainment on campus can also be organized. (Offered between July 1 - August 19, 2026)
Accommodation
Main Residences (David Bomberg & McLaren House Campus): Located 5 minutes walk from the main campus. Single rooms with private bathroom are offered.
Meals
Summer Course: Three meals per day are provided. Discover London Summer (16+): 2 meals per day including breakfast and dinner are provided.
Activities
A wide variety of activities are offered for students during out-of-class times, including baseball, talent contest, movie night, city walks, karaoke, disco, quiz and fun games.
Trips
Summer Course: Up to 2 full day trips and 4 half day trips per week are offered. Discover London Summer (16+): 1 full day trip per week is offered. Optional trips for an additional fee are also organized. Metro and bus tickets to be used during trips in London are the student's responsibility. Sample Trip Program: Greenwich, Brighton, Canterbury, Cambridge, Windsor Castle, Portsmouth, Camden Town.
Schools provide the trip programme as an example and reserve the right to change trip destinations due to weather conditions, availability or other external factors. There is no participation in trip programmes on arrival and departure days.
Airport Transfers
Transfer service is provided from London airports for an additional fee. Arrivals and departures are on Wednesdays.
Airport transfer days and times are fixed. Extra fees are charged outside these hours and days. Shuttle is valid for certain days and hours. You can get detailed information from your consultant.
Health Insurance
Insurance service can be obtained from the school for an additional fee.
